KORTICKY SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 914, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT a 60-foot wide by 506.21-foot long portion of County Road 1081, Garden Arbors Estates, located in the J. Korticky Survey, Abstract No. 914, Tarrant County, Texas, and containing 0.70 acres, and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6031 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption. Korticky Survey, Abstract No. 914, Tarrant County, according to the plat recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6031, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, containing 0.70 acres of land. DISCUSSION:. :Bill and Stephanie Corrigan, Jim and Jacqueline Garwood, and William Umbreil, owners of the above- described properties, have requested vacation of the referenced road to replat with adjoining properties. There are no known utilities in the said right-of-way. The City Plan Commission recommended approval at its public hearing on June 26, 2002. The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division; states that a fee of $1.00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. An acceptable.replat has been provided (FS-02-184). These properties are located in Fort Worth's extraterritorial jurisdiction.
