This will be the only information available to the City prior to receipt of the Certified Tax Roll scheduled for release by TAD on July 25. The preliminary estimate reflects a total appraised value of $20,808,804,000 and a net taxable value of $16,884,754,000. The net taxable value does include the value for those properties whose values are being protested by the property owner. TAD is still mailing value notices; therefore, many protests have yet to be filed with the Appraisal. Review Board. Staff estimates a 5.0% reduction to preliminary estimates prior to the certified values being released in July. This factor has been used to forecast the appraised values upon which the 1998 property tax levy will be based. The anticipated taxable value for FY 1998-99 is $16,040,516,000 which is 4.73% above the current taxable value of $15,315,963,000. mri Attached is a schedule showing comparable numbers relative to the 1997 preliminary values, the 1997 certified values, the current amended 1997 values and the preliminary 1998 values. When the 1998 certified tax roll is received in July, additional information will be presented to City Council. C"6 - Bob Terrell City Manager Attachment ISSUED BY THE CITY MANAGER FORT WORTH,TEXAS 00 S en m en 0 M 0 M r- cr, w (10 ON en 00 "1 IT In ID en V 00 r- Ic en -,:r6o o lc 10 01 00 00 vi 4oq (A 6oc) m 4 W4 Vq 6t 6hA 6A 69 w 14 t- 0 v v ON 14 Iz r- v (m a NO f- I* el w 0, — 14 — " — 0 1n r- 6m 6e cl &I= tl r-! 66 W V 00 C7, v 0, a, m = v e- 0 w ac Go ao ON el Wi O'D — %0 eA fin fio. In f4 ag V r- :::; GA VI) : GM 6m 14:1 fin ip w > C4 69 fin at 605 66 fift vs VS CG J M M fD M 0 0 IT — U) N t- V \0 (71 co GTi N r— 831- 1 Ln N M N ID 00 w 0 (D 00 CO cl± fD an 6 C U) .1i V C4 4:6 Ld 46 6 r 6—7 C6 r 'IT vn C> 00 01 N> (7, 6" Vq vq O y in 69 49 446.)V% 0% 0% io*4 fA 40*960 I.S tO 10 0h 10 cn W1 CD t. 10 C14 IT er kn N en m r- 00 00 'IT 00 R '0 CD 00 0, 00 W1 N 'o U N en O W  lc W) N AA 10 W1 CD ;,- IT r- iA lwA ioq 65 fn 00 en 6A 6'1 6o.) 6ft vq iA fift 4A CD W) R r4 00 en m cq ell C> en Ko 01 W) O CD W) W) 10 00 en c 00 00 * — , (' = C n r*, 10 Wi > en (D v, O M CD M Oh r-4 -n h 4A r-: t- cq 00 iA 10 \0 W) r4 ^ t- ir9 N 6Fl 10 W" m 'IT h en rI4 r.- rA 6A US iA fioq rq lc C 409 lc 'IT cc Goq vq —1 40q IT en 46 .g IA 4A vq 171 p C) C4 "0 as 4) 91, > > C/) o > C) T *9 tTi u .9 >1 LL) 00 E t, t-9 1 2 a , "a 0 0 6. s C4 cn z z
