SECOND AMENDMENT TO
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 60116
This Second Amendment to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract 60116 ("Amendment")
is made between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a Texas home -rule municipal corporation, and
Language Line Services, Inc.("Vendor"), individually referred to as a "Party" and collectively as
the "Parties."
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into an agreement identified as Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract 60116 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Parties recently amended the Agreement to increase the annual spending
authority up to $150,000.00, as authorized by Mayor and Council Communication No. 24-0148
(February 2, 2024); and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of the Parties to amend the Agreement to increase
the annual spending authority allowed under the Agreement by an additional $20,000.00 for a new
annual amount up to $170,000.00 to account for services for the Fire Department's EMS services.
NOW THEREFORE, known by all these present, the parties, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, agree to the following terms, which amend the Agreement
as follows:
I.
AMENDMENT
The following term hereby amends the Agreement to either replace any conflicting term in
the Agreement or shall be added to the terms and shall be binding and enforceable as if it were
originally included therein:
Paragraph 4, the Compensation provision of the Agreement, shall be
deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following paragraph:
City shall pay Vendor in accordance with the fee schedule in
Exhibit A and in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. Total
annual payment made under this Agreement is an amount up to One
Hundred and Seventy Thousand Dollars ($170,000.00). Vendor shall
not provide any additional items or services or bill for expenses incurred for
City not specified by this Agreement unless City requests and approves in
writing the additional costs for such services. City shall not be liable for
any additional expenses of Vendor not specified by this Agreement unless
City first approves such expenses in writing.

All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.

III.
ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE
This Amendment may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an
original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or
computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall have the
same effect as an original.
