HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 15511ORDINANCE NO. ~~l AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 7.5-FOOT WIDE BY 102.50-FOOT LONG SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT, LOCATED IN LOT 19, BLOCK G, THE RANCH AT EAGLE MOUNTAIN TWO, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT a 7.5-foot wide by 102.50-foot long sanitary sewer easement located in Lot 19, Block G, The Ranch at Eagle .Mountain Two, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 4363, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same are vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated sanitary sewer easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption. APPROVED AS TO FORM AND LEGALITY: ~~ ~~. DISCUSSION: First Texas Homes, owner of the above-described property, has requested vacation of the referenced unused sanitary sewer easement to expand a building area. Existing: improvements include curb and gutter, water, telephone, sanitary sewer, gas and electric. lines. The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1.00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A replat is not required. This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7.
