Crain, District 3 Council Member Jared Williams, District 6 Staff Present: Jesus "Jay" Chapa, City Manager Leann Guzman, City Attorney Jannette Goodall, City Secretary CALL TO ORDER With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Pro tem Bivens called the City Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:02 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas. INVOCATION - Brother Robert Lee, Chinese Baptist Church The invocation was provided by Brother Robert Lee of the Chinese Baptist Church. The Pledges of Allegiances to the United States of America and the State of Texas were recited. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Motion: Council Member Nettles made a motion, seconded by Council Member Blaylock, that the Regular Council meeting of March 11, 2025, the Regular Council meeting of March 25, 2025, and the Special called FY2026 Bond Workshop, Work Session, and Public Comment meetings of April 1, 2025, be approved. Joshua Friend, representing Greater Meadowbrook Alliance, appeared before Council relative to Meadowbrook-Lancaster neighborhood needs. Chris Wood appeared before Council relative to for all. Cindy Boling appeared before Council relative to Meadowbrook/ East Lancaster Avenue neighborhoods. Bob Willoughby appeared before Council relative to general comments. Carol Peters, representing West Meadowbrook Neighborhood Association, appeared before Council relative to East Lancaster. Wesley Kirk, representing Support Fort Worth Art, appeared before Council relative to how the City can fund the arts. David Martinez appeared before Council relative to Carter Park Neighborhood. James Walker, representing Community Leadership United, appeared before Council relative to introduction to organization. Christopher Johnson, representing Community Leadership United, appeared before Council relative to what the organization does. Adrian Smith completed a speaker card relative to boa and was recognized by Mayor Pro tem Bivens but was not present in the Council Chamber. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Pro tern Bivens adjourned the meeting at 6:36 p.m. due to the loss of quorum. These minutes were approved by the Fort Worth City Council on the 6ch day of May, 2025.
