HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 59226-A1City of Fort Worth, Texas Fire Station 37 Prof Services Agreement Amendment Template Project No. 104186 Revision Date: 12/08/2023 Page 1 of 3 AMENDMENT No.01 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. CSC No. 59226 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and RPGA Design Group, Inc., (ARCHITECT) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. CSC No. 59226, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized M&C 23-0225 on the 21th day of March,2023 in the amount of $ 444,000; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves architectural services for the following project: Fire Station 37; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No.01 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ARCHITECT, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional Architectural Services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Architect totals $11,000.00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-) 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Architect for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $455,000.00. 3. All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect. We submit the following for your consideration and approval. I. Proiect Description A. General Description: The base scope of services included the filing of three (3) easements at a cost of $2,500.00 an easement. In the process of designing and coordinating the site design for Fire Station #37, the City of Fort Worth as well as local utilities required a total of seven (7) easements. We are requesting fees for the four (4) additional fees that had to filed for this project. B. Changes to the construction documents include changes to civil drawings as well as the creation of additional easement documents. II. Compensation: A. Based on the scope of services required to document and record the additional easements, our additional services fees are as stated below. Fees as quoted are good for a period of (90) ninety days from the date of this proposal.
