AMENDMENT No.01
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. CSC No. 60001
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Komatsu-Rangel Inc., d/b/a
Komatsu Architecture, (ARCHITECT) made and entered into City Secretary
Contract No. CSC No. 60001, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized M&C 23-
0642 on the 8th day of August,2023 in the amount of $ 489,751.00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves architectural services for the
following project:
Fire Station No. 16; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 01 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ARCHITECT, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which
amends the CONTRACT:
1.
Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
Architectural Services specified in proposal attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services
to be performed by Architect totals $ 6,050.00. (See Attached Funding
Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-)
2.
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Architect for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $ 495,801.00.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended
herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

RE: Basic A/E Fee Proposal for rerouting the Overhead Power lines to underground
with IPRC approval
Dear Mr. George:
Komatsu Architecture is pleased to provide this fee proposal for the Basic Architectural
and Engineering Services for the new Fire Station No. 16 site utility rework. We propose
the following:
Review proposed Overhead power line rework.
Provide water line and site rework to city for IPRC review and approval.
Provide revised as built drawings to owner and contractor.
The following consultants are on the A/E Team:
Civil Engineer: Carrillo Engineering, LLC
Fire Station No. 16 Basic Service Fee:
Architect Fee, including expenses $ 550
Consultant Fees $5,500
Total $6,050
If you have any questions regarding this proposal, please let me know. If this proposal
meets with your approval, Komatsu is prepared to start to work to meet your schedule
and expectations. We appreciate this opportunity to be working with the City of Fort

AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CLIENT AND CARRILLO ENGINEERING, LLC
AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 DATED July 14, 2025 to the agreement between Komatsu
Architecture ("Client") and Carrillo Engineering, LLC ("Consultant") dated April 20, 2023 (“the
Agreement”) concerning Fire Station 16 (the "Project").
The Consultant has entered into the Agreement with the Client for the furnishing of
professional services, and the parties now desire to amend the Agreement.
Therefore, it is mutually agreed that the Agreement is amended to include Additional Services
to be performed by Consultant and provisions for additional compensation by the Client to the
Consultant, all as set forth in Exhibit A hereto. The parties ratify the terms and conditions of the
Agreement not inconsistent with this Amendment, all of which are incorporated by reference.

Task 1 – IPRC Plan Revisions $5,500 LS
The Consultant will revise and resubmit the IPRC drawings to reflect the latest changes to the water lines
resulting from the installation of the underground conduit crossing. This task includes addressing
comments from both the City and the Client, with up to two (2) rounds of revisions and resubmittals.
This scope of services does not include any fees as we understand these will be paid by the Owner.
