After proper notice given pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act, with a quorum of the City
Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the Closed Executive Session Meeting to order at
11:10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in the City Council Work Session Room of the Fort Worth
City Hall to discuss matters pertaining to the following:
B. The City Council will conduct a closed meeting in order to discuss matters permitted by the
following sections of Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code:

1. Section 551.071, CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY
To seek the advice of its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers, or
any matter in which the duty of the attorney to the City Council under the Texas Disciplinary
Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Texas Open
Meetings Act. [Tex. Govt Code §551.071]:
a. Legal issues related to traveling Housing Finance Corporations;

b. Legal issues concerning MDL No. 2:18-mn-2873-RMG; City of Camden, et al. v. El du
Pont de Nemours & Company et al., E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company et al., CaseNo.
2:23-cv-03230-RMG and City of Camden, et al. v. 3M Company, No. 2:23-cv-03147-
RMG filed in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina,
Charleston Division;
Discussion occurred.
c. Legal issues concerning federal grants; and
Discussion occurred.
d. Legal issues concerning any item listed on today's posted Council Work Session
agendas.

1. Section 551.072, DELIBERATIONS REGARDING REAL PROPERTY
Deliberate the purchase, sale, lease or value of real property where deliberation in an open
meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the City in negotiations with a third
party.
No discussion occurred.
2. Section 551.087, DELIBERATIONS REGARDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
NEGOTIATIONS
Deliberate the commercial or financial information or the offer of a financial or other incentive
to a business prospect.
No discussion occurred.
3. Section 551.076 and Section 551.089, DELIBERATIONS REGARDING
SECURITY

Deliberate certain security matters in accordance with Section 551.076 and 551.089 of the Texas
Government Code.
Discussion occurred.
C. The City Council may reconvene in open session in the City Council Conference Room and
act on any item listed on the Executive Session Agenda in accordance with Chapter 551 of
the Texas Government Code.
D. Adjourn
With no further business to be conducted, Mayor Parker adjourned the meeting at 12:10 p.m. on
Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
