Call to Order - Mattie Parker - Mayor With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the Special Called Meeting - City Council Workshop on the FY2026 Bond Program to order at 10:52 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the Fort Worth City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas. 2. Opening Remarks - Christianne Simmons - Chief Transformation Officer Christianne Simmons, Chief Transformation Officer provided opening remarks. Discussion on 2026 Bond Program - Lauren Prieur - Transportation and Public Works Director Presentation was provided by Lauren Prieur, Transportation and Public Works Director and Patricia Wadsack, Assistant Director of Capital Delivery. Council Member Blaylock requested the total amount of unfunded projects. Council Member Beck requested information on the ability to move funds from Open Space to fund additional transportation projects. Mayor Parker requested information on other funding options for minor street projects. Council Member Hill requested a list of heavy maintenance projects funded and unfunded. Mayor Parker requested information on which projects listed on the unfunded list could be funded in non -bond funded budgets. Council Member Martinez requested information about funding of cast iron streets. Council Member Crain requested information on how funding is transitions when a section of street transitions from home to commercial. Council Member Flores requested information on communication with TXDot on impact caused by commercial traffic through neighborhoods resulting from TXDot installed medians or other traffic barriers. Council Members Lauersdorf and Nettles requested information on the Public Art Program including funding options. Council Member Nettles requested a discussion on affordable housing proposition for the bond election Council Member Hill requested that the list of options for Public Art be resent to Council.
