Crain, District 3 Council Member Jeanette Martinez, District 11 Staff Present: Jesus "Jay" Chapa, City Manager Leann Guzman, City Attorney Jannette Goodall, City Secretary CALL TO ORDER With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas. INVOCATION - Bishop Kevin Dickerson, Dayspring Family Church The invocation was provided by Bishop Kevin Dickerson of Dayspring Family Church. The Pledges of Allegiances to the United States of America and the State of Texas were recited. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Motion: Council Member Blaylock made a motion, seconded by Council Member Hill, that the Budget Work Session, the Special Called Bond Workshop, the Work Session, and Public Comment meetings of June 3, 2025, and the Joint Fort Worth City Council and Fort Worth Retirement Board meeting of June 10, 2025, be approved. Charles Bilz appeared before Council relative to Council Members. Eddie Delgado, representing Fort Worth Area Indivisible, completed a speaker card relative to public unity and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not in the Council Chamber. Jim DeLong appeared before Council relative situational ethics. Adrian Smith appeared before Council relative to boa. Gerald Banks Sr., representing Equal Justice Now, appeared before Council relative to profiling, police brutality, wrongful arrest/killings, wrongful prosecutions, end qualified immunity, racism, abuse of power, ICE, etc. Payton Jackson appeared before Council relative to - Ann Zadeh appeared before Council relative to appreciation, congratulations and the concerns regarding the future of Fort Worth. Lauren Chiong appeared before Council relative to historical marker comment, thank you for pride month recognition. Ernie Moran completed a speaker card relative to city business and the electorate and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not in the Council Chamber. Kolby Knight completed a speaker card relative to Tarrant County issues and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not in the Council Chamber. Malik Austin appeared before Council relative to the state of the city.
