( Q AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT JUINITA STREET FROM JOE DUDLEY STREET NORTH A DISTANCE OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY FEET AND ALL OF JOE DUDLEY STREET BE VA- CATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS ; SECTION 1. That Juinita Street from Joe Dudley Street north a dis- tance of one hundred fifty (150) feet and all of Joe Dudley Street be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and perma- nently vacated as streets or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever, save and except that the vacated rights- of-way are reserved for utility easements. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said streets is hereby released and shall re- vert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. The subject streets, acquired by dedication, are unimproved, If this re- quest is granted, the applicant has expressed intention to utilize the va- cated right-of-way for additional yard and parking area. City Departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and have no objections provided the applicant plats the vacated rights-of-way with adjoining property and retains the vacated rights-of-way as utility easements. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an ordinance vacating the public rights-of-way as requested, subject to the conditions recommended above by the City departments and private utility companies. The applicant has submitted a satisfactory replat. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject rights-of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
