I. Call to Order
With a quorum present President Blaylock called the meeting to order for the Board of Directors
of the Fort Worth Local Development Corporation at 11:27 a.m. on Tuesday,
August 26, 2025, in the City Council Work Session Room of the Fort Worth City Hall, 100 Fort
Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas.
II. Approval of Minutes for April 22, 2025, and June 24, 2025
Motion was made by Trustee Nettles and seconded by Trustee Beck to approve the April 22, 2025,
and June 24, 2025, meeting minutes. The motion passed 9-0 vote, Trustees Crain and Martinez
absent.
III. Briefings and Discussion
a. Financial Report for the period of October 2024 through July 2025.
Ori Fernandez, Assistant Economic Development Director, provided a summary of the financial
report.
b. Evans Avenue Corridor Streetscape Plan (Shawn Lassiter, BRAVE/R Together
President)
Shawn Lassiter, BRAVE/R Together President, provided a briefing on the Evans Avenue Corridor
Streetscape Plan.

IV. Action Items
a. Consider a Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of certain Tax Foreclosure properties
located at 6851 and 6855 East Lancaster Avenue for the purpose of Redevelopment
and Revitalization of Historic Handley Urban Village and Revitalization Target Area
in an amount not to exceed $69,515.00. (Martha Collins, Economic Development
Manager)
Martha Collins, Economic Development Manager, provided a staff report.
Motion was made by Trustee Peoples and seconded by Trustee Lauersdorf to approve Resolution
No. FWLDC-2025-14, Authorizing the Purchase of certain Tax Foreclosure properties located at
6851 and 6855 East Lancaster Avenue for the purpose of Redevelopment and Revitalization of
Historic Handley Urban Village and Revitalization Target Area in an amount not to exceed
$69,515.00. The motion passed on an 11-0 vote.

VI. Request for Future Agenda Items
There were no requests for future agenda items.
VII. Adjourn
With no further discussion, President Blaylock adjourned the meeting of the Fort Worth Local
Development Corporation Board at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
