1. Call to Order - Mattie Parlcer, Mayor
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Paricer called the City
Council Budget Work Session of the FY2026 Budget to order 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday,
August 19, 2025, in the City Council Worlc Session Room of the Fort Worth City Hall,
100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas.

b. BR26-002: FY2026 Planned Fee Change
Council Member Becic recommended increasing the budget for PARD to expand the
Alleyway Maintenance program.
Council Member Flores requested information on the cost of using recycled asphalt
for paving alleyways.

4. FY2026 Budget Reductions - Cristi Lemon, FWLab Assistant Director
Presentations were presented by Dave Lewis, PARD Director, Robert Alldredge, Interim
Police Chief, Marilyn Marvin, Property Management Director
Council Member Peoples requested information on the attrition rate for officers.
Council Member Flores requested information on replacement of police vehicles.
Council Member Nettles requested information on prpcess for Council to review
reductions or changes in the reduction pacicages going forward.
Presentation on FY26 Budget Reductions was provided by Cristi Lemon, FWLab
Assistant Director.
Council Melnbers expressed iuterest in having additional town-hall meetings that are
budget focused to help increase options for residents to attend.

7. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports
Council Member Lauersdorf requested staff consider increasing fees for lift services
provided by the Fire Department for services provided to private facilities.
Council Member Peoples requested information on the costs for adding an additional
Sister City.
