With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Par•lcer called the City
Council Worlc Session of the Fort Worth City Council to order 1:11 p.m. on Tuesday,
August 5, 2025, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall,
200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

8. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports
Council Member Nettles requested an update on Waste Management service levels for
residential solid waste collection in six months.
Council Member Nettles requested an informal report on speeding locations and hotspots
per district.
Council Member Nettles requested an informal report on the number of inquiries the city
receives for housing support.
Council Member Nettles requested an informal report on the process and priority of
overgrown grass and fallen trees on the roadway getting cleared.
Council Member Nettles requested follow up on questions regarding citizens receiving
emails to by 10- to 15-year-old water bills.
Council Member Nettles requested an informal report on the process for ordering a
chai�ter election for the May 2026 election.
Council Member Becic requested an update on the process for door-to-door salesman
program.
Council Member Becic requested an informal report on adopting an ordinance for the
2027 Budget relating to SB 304.
Cotulcil Member Lauersdorf and Becic requested a presentation on vape shops by district
and how we are protecting oui• community.
Council Member Craiil requested an informal report on water usage, advanced
notification and enforcement; how does advanced notiiication worlc, does it result in
optimized water usa�e; is the water conservation group ready to handle the volume of
these notifications; are the advanced notifications sufficiently documented so customers
and landscape irrigation contractors can access and understand what is required.
Mayor pro tem Flores requested a briefuig on the habitual nuisance ordivance.

The Mayor requested a briefing on the commercial and residential Board of Adjustment;
do any cases need to go before Council; Board and Commission attendance and quorum
issues.
The Mayor requested an informal report on renaming South Division Patrol for Seat•gent
Billy Randolph,
Council Member Peoples requested an informal report on the homeless pilot project
update and how to utilize it for District 5.
Council Member Peoples requested information on a street topper for Shirley Knox
Benton; improving the process for renaming streets and getting sti•eet toppers.

There being no further business, Mayor Parlcer adjourned the meeting at 2:51 p.m.
