SUBJECT: LITTER CONTROL UPDATE: FY25 SUMMARY AND FY26 EVENTS
The purpose of this Informal Report is to provide an update on Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) litter
control program metrics and to highlight planned activities for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26). Table
summarizes the litter control services that support the City's goal of maintaining a clean, safe,
and attractive community. The overarching objective remains to eliminate litter and illegal
dumping. The slight reduction in total litter weight collected in FY25 reflects increased service
frequency and a decline in large illegal dumping incidents.
