SECOND AMENDMENT OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND TEXAS A&M AGRILIFE EXTENSION SERVICE
(CSC NO. 51995)
This SECOND AMENDMENT Second Amendment
the CITY OF FORT WORTH -rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting
by and through its duly authorized representative, and TEXAS A&M AGRILIFE EXTENSION
SERVICE, a member of the Texas A&M University System and an agency of the State
of Texas. The City and Texas A&M
WHEREAS, on February 1, 2019, the Parties entered into an Interlocal Agreement for Texas A&M
to provide agricultural and wildlife management training to City employees, the same being City Secretary
Contract CSC 51995
WHEREAS, the initial term of the Agreement expired on January 31, 2024, but the Parties have been
operating as if the Agreement was in full force and effect;
WHEREAS, on February 2, 2024, the Parties exercised the First Amendment and First Renewal (CSC
No. 51995-A1R1), which amended the Agreement to allow for two (2) five-year renewal terms, increased
the total not-to-exceed annual contract amount to $8,000.00, and renewed the Agreement for a new
expiration date of January 31, 2029; and
WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to increase the total contract amount to
$50,000.00 per renewal term, being a period of five years.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained herein,
the City and Texas A&M agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
I.
The Parties hereby agree to amend Section 3.1 of the Agreement to be and read as follows:
3.1 Total compensation under this Agreement will not exceed Fifty Thousand
Dollars and Zero Cents ($50,000.00) per renewal term.
II.
1.All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant to this
Second Amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
2.All terms in this Second Amendment that are capitalized but not defined shall have the
meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.
