This Fort Worth City Secretary Contract
No. 56871 (“Sixth Amendment and Fourth Renewal”), between the City Of Fort Worth
(“City”), a Texas home rule municipal corporation and National Security & Protective
Service Inc (“Vendor”), a Texas corporation. Vendor and City may each be individually
referred to as a “party,” and collectively referred to as the “parties.”
on December 17, 2021, City and Vendor entered into City Secretary
Contract No. 56871 (the “Agreement”) for Vendor to provide security guard services to the
City; and
on March 2, 2022 December 20, 2022, the parties amended the
Agreement to accurately reflect the security guard services required by the City; and
on July 13, 2023, the parties amended the Agreement to modify the
Agreement’s Scope of Services for the City’s Economic Development Department; and
, on December 5, 2023, the parties amended the Agreement to amend the
Scope of Services for the City’s Library Department and the Payment Schedule; and
on May 13, 2025, the parties amended the Payment Schedule to increase
the hourly rates for Vendor’s services; and
, the parties mutually desire to modify the Scope of Services for
the Environmental Services and Code Compliance departments, and amend the Payment
Schedule to increase hourly rates under the Agreement; and
the City and Vendor desire to renew the Agreement for the final renewal
term.
, City and Vendor, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, agree to the following terms:
The Scope of Services attached to this Amendment and Renewal as Exhibit B
is incorporated into the Agreement’s Exhibit A “Scope of Services” as if it had been originally
set forth in the Agreement. In the event of any conflict between the Scope of Services attached to
this Amendment and Renewal as Exhibit B and the Scope of Services attached to the
Agreement as Exhibit A, the Scope of Services attached to this Amendment and Renewal as
Exhibit B shall control.

Pursuant to the Agreement terms, the City hereby exercises its option to renew
the Agreement for the fourth renewal term, which will begin on December 15, 2025 and will
end on December 14, 2026, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the Agreement.
All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement
not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
This Amendment may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be original
and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or
computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall
have the same effect as an original.

Section 3.2 of Exhibit A is hereby repealed and replaced to be and read as set forth below.
3.2
3.2.1 Location One Details
3.2.1.1 Hazel Harvey Peace Center for Neighborhoods (HHP) 818 Missouri
Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104
3.2.1.2 One full-time unarmed security guard will be needed for the
Department at this location.
3.2.1.3 In the future, the Department will consider having an armed guard at
this location. This location currently only has unarmed guards.
3.2.1.4 Hours of work will be 7AM-5PM Monday to Friday including
occasional Saturdays and Sundays, depending on classes and training provided
at HHP.
3.2.1.4.1 Overtime will be allowed at this location and will be overseen
by the Department’s management analyst.
3.2.1.5 If a security guard cannot work a shift, they will provide the Point of
Contact with 48 hours' notice.
