CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City
Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall,
100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas.
INVOCATION - Pastor DaMarion Lewis, Love Sanctuary Church
The invocation was provided by Pastor DaMarion Lewis, Love Sanctuary Church.
PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE
OF TEXAS - (State of Texas Pledge: "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance
to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.")
The Pledges of Allegiances to the United States of America and the State of Texas were
recited.

Motion: Council Member Blaylock made a motion, seconded by Council Member
Lauersdorf that the Special Called meeting of September 16, 2025, be approved.
Motion passed 9-0, Council Members Dr. Hall and Beek off the dais.

Council relative to the Gateway Park Master Plan.
Ernie Moran appeared before Council relative to public comment.
Mendi Tackett appeared before Council relative to public speaking.
Eddie Delgado completed a speaker card relative to Fort Worth and was
recognized by Mayor Parker but was not present in the Council Chamber.
Ken Shimamoto appeared before Council relative to in regard to the Mayor's
comment to Patrice Jones.
Chris Wood appeared before Council relative to just like me.
Ann Zadeh appeared before Council relative to public comment - community
engagement.
Tom Harris, representing Hillwood Alliance, appeared before Council relative Fort
Worth Mayors Council on Education and Workforce Development.
Barney B. Holland, Jr., representing Barney Holland Oil Company, appeared
before Council relative to decorum of public speakers and that of City Council
representatives is seen by corporations seeking to relocate to Fort Worth.

United States of America Free Citizens.
Caroline James appeared before Council relative to literacy/dyslexia.
Brent Beasley, representing Fort Worth Education Partnership, appeared before
Council relative to teacher preparation investments in Fort Worth Universities.
Jeremy Pope appeared before Council relative to ask that public comment be
increased instead of decreased.
Mitch Whitten, representing Visit Fort Worth, appeared before Council relative to
1 Oth anniversary of the Fort Worth Film Commission.

relative to appreciation.
Mia Rainey completed a speaker card relative to advocating for City owned youth
sport complex and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not present in the
Council Chamber.
Mike Naughton, representing Fort Worth Independent School District, appeared
before Council relative to City of Fort Worth and FWISD partnerships - open
spaces joint use agreement.
Erika Cristantielli appeared before Council relative to thank City Council for voting
for Justice Residence.
Ariella Villa completed a speaker card relative to the suppression of taxpayer
voices, public comment, intimidation free speech and was recognized by Mayor
Parker but was not present in the Council Chamber.

Richard Perez completed a speaker card relative to no to city of Fort Worth
association with Mercy Culture, they promote greed, exploit the vulnerable, and
distort Christian teachings and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not
Present in the Council Chamber.
Pastor John Reed appeared before Council relative to support for Council.
Payton Jackson appeared before Council relative to Nettles knew about the casket
before it happened.
Donna Floyd, representing Justin's Place, appeared before Council relative to
Justin's Place and The Nest.

and Tim O'Hare.
Stephen Kiec appeared before Council relative to restore public comments to
regular Council meetings.

relative to children zero to five - our youngest citizens.
Nelly Gyamfi completed a speaker card relative to City Council meeting and was

There being no further business, Mayor Parker adjourned the meeting at 9:09 p.m.
