APPROVING RAISES FOR CERTAIN COUNCIL -APPOINTED POSITIONS
AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Fort Worth reserves to the City Council the authority to
appoint and prescribe compensation for Council -appointed positions; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the adopted budget for Fiscal Year 2026, the City Council
wishes to implement pay raises for certain appointed positions for which the Council prescribes
compensation under the City Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS THAT:
1. The City Council directs the City Manager, acting through appropriate staff, to implement
all changes and take all necessary actions to provide increases in the amount shown for each
of the listed positions:
City Manager
City Attorney
City Auditor
City Secretary
5% (on -going)
7% (on -going)
7% (on -going)
7% (on -going)
2. The effective date for each such increase will be November 15, 2025.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
