ACKNOWLEDGING MAYOR PARKER'S 2026 APPOINTMENTS
TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth established the Housing
Authority of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, currently doing business as Fort Worth
Housing Solutions ('*FWHS"), on January 5, 1983, and
WHEREAS, FWHS is a housing authority created and operated in accordance with
Chapter 392 of the Texas Local Government Code to provide decent, safe housing for low -
to moderate -income residents, and
WHEREAS, Section 392.031 grants authority to the Mayor to appoint persons to
serve as commissioners for FWHS; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners for FWHS is comprised of five (5)
commissioners appointed to serve two-year terms, and
WHEREAS, three current Commissioners of FWHS have terms set to expire on
January 31, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Parker has elected
Terri Attaway and Michael Ramirez to sere
2026, and ending on January 31, 2028.
to appoint Lynnicia Hudson and to reappoint
two-year terms beginning on February 1,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS THAT MAYOR PARKER WILL MAKE THE
FOLLOWING APPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
1. Lynnicia Hudson for a term ending on January 31, 2028;
2. Terri Attaway for a term ending on January 31, 2028; and
3. Michael Ramirez for a term ending on January 31, 2028.
