Home My WebLink About050813-A1 - Construction-Related - Contract - RJN Group, Inc.CSC No. 50813-A1 AN�NDMENT No . 1 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 50813 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and RJN Group, Inc., (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No . 50813 , ( the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-28685 on the 15th day of May, 2018 in the amount of $ 1,290,000.00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: Sanitary Sewer M-245 Parallel Relief Pipeline, CPN 100997; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein . The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $48,422.00. 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $1,338,422.00. 3. Surveyor will revisit trees along project and confirm diameters, tag id's and noting any trees that need to be added or if trees have been removed. ARCHEOLOCICAL SURVEY 1. Conduct a Phase I Cultural Resources Investigation. 2. Review state and federal databases for previously recorded sites in the vicinity of the project and other pertinent historical documentation as needed. 3. Obtain Antiquities Permit from THC for project prior to start of fieldwork. The permit application must be signed by a representative of the City of Fort Worth and RJN's subconsultant. 4. Conduct an archaeological field survey of the approximately 2.5-mile linear project area. The proposed right-of-way width is limited to 100 feet or less. This scope of work does not include deep testing (backhoe trenching), Phase II investigations, or additional investigations to address design changes or agency requests. 5. Archeological sites identified during the survey will be registered with the Texas Archeological Research Laboratory in order to obtain a state site identiiication number for the report. 6. Coordinate with the client to determine potential impacts to any discovered cultural resource sites and prepare avoidance/mitigation recommendations. 7. Prepare survey report that meets THC standards and submit an electronic copy of report to Client. 8. Subconsultant will curate any artifacts discovered during the project and all project paperwork with the Texas Archeological Research Laboratory.
