CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City
Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:07 p.m.
on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall,
100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas.

The invocation was provided by Pastor Phillip Ross, Beth Yesha Congregation.
PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE
OF TEXAS (State of Texas Pledge: "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to
thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.")
The Pledges of Allegiances to the United States of America and the State of Texas were
recited.

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Motion: Council Member Crain made a motion, seconded by Council Member Hill that the
Work Session and Public Comment meetings of December 2, 2025, the Council
meeting of December 9, 2025, and the Council Retreat meeting of December 19,
2025, be approved. Motion passed 11-0.

before Council relative to upcoming PD/SU with Planning and Zoning.
Steven Carlton appeared before Council relative to complaints regarding Zoning
Department's handling of auto repair land use.
Anthony Michael moore appeared before Council relative to gun violence in
schools children snatched life too early & housing glorious plethora opportunities
in my home province distract sunshine of Fort Worth.
Mar'Tayshia James appeared before Council relative to proper notification.
Rob Espich, representing Village of Woodland Spring, completed a speaker card
relative to auto repair shop near residential homes and was recognized by Mayor
Parker but was not present in the Council Chamber.

Patrice Jones, representing By Any Means 104, appeared before Council relative to
relocation of funding from violence intervention programs.
Malik Austin appeared before Council relative to the state of Highland Hills.
James Smith completed a speaker card relative to the right to speak and the results
by doing so, Atatiana Jefferson, and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was not
present in the Council Chamber.
Joey Flores completed a speaker card relative to city leadership and was
