Home My WebLink About056320-A2 - Construction-Related - Contract - Arredondo, Zepeda & Brunz, LLCCSC No. 56320-A2 AMENDMENT No . 2 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 56320 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Arredondo, Zepeda & Brunz., LLC, (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 56320, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C 21-0538 on the 3rd day of August, 2021 in the amount of $ 302,590.50; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by: Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $39,081.85 administratively authorized on May 22nd, 2024; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Contract 118, CPN 102789; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $ 7,847.36. (Water: $941.68 ; Sewer: $6,905.68) 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $349,519.71. WORTH, TX Sanitary Sewer Rehab Contract ll8 1C�789 ��_:,=� .—.�..�■ a� � ARDURRAcomne�y December 16, 2025 Parvathi Sreekumaran-Unnithan, PE City of Fort Worth Water Department 100 Fort Worth Trail Fort Worth, TX 76102 Re: Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement Contract 118 City Project No. 102789 Amendment No. 2 Ms. Sreekumaran-Unnithan: AZ&B proposes to perform the following additional tasks requested by the City of Fort Worth Water Department that were not originally included in the project scope: • Perform a walkthrough of each water or sanitary sewer replacement segment to identify any major above ground structures or constraints (i.e. Vaults) built after topographic survey was done in Fall 2021— Winter 2022 that could impact the utility alignments. • Any major above ground structures or constraints identified during site walkthroughs will be generally located in the design plans. • Update property owner names on the plans for lots within the replacement project limits that are found to have been sold since initial deed research was done in Fall 2021— Winter 2022. • Compile property owner addresses for public meeting. Ardurra will obtain current property owner names from the Tarrant County Appraisal District GIS map. Generally, research limits will extend one block beyond the beginning and end points of each water or sanitary sewer replacement segment. Approximate limits shall be as indicated by the Water Department on aerial maps provided by email September 17, 2025. Addresses for community facilities near the project limits that may be impacted by street closures, including schools and churches will be included. For apartment complexes or condominiums, only the main office address will be included. Deliverables • Property owner address list using Microsoft Excel file provided by the Water Department. • Changes in property ownership and improvements/changes identified as potentially having an impact on construction during site walkthroughs will be shown on the final review submittal before the project is advertised. Not Included in this Scope and Fee Notification letters to property owners. These will be mailed by the City of Fort Worth. Additional topographic or right-of-way survey. The additional lump sum fee requested for the additional design effort identified above is $7,847.36 as summarized in the table below.
