Home My WebLink About063689-A1 - Construction-Related - Contract - Lockwood Andrews & Newnam, Inc.AMENDMENT No . 1 CSC No. 63689-A1 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 63689 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Lockwood Andrews & Newnam, Inc., (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 63689, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C 25-0491 on the loth day of June, 2025 in the amount of $ 149,980.00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: Athletic Field Improvements at Rockwood, Rolling Hills, Northwest Community, and Gateway Parks, CPN 105169 & 105170; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $12,170.00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-) 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $162,150.00. Both the CITY and ENGINEER have attempted to clearly define the work to be performed and address the needs of the Project. Under this scope, "ENGINEER" is expanded to include any sub -ENGINEER, including surveyor, employed or contracted by the ENGINEER. PROJECT UNDERSTANDING 1) The project elements are to provide engineering design to renovate Rockwood Park Softball Fields 1, 2, and 3 electrical components, so the field lighting is using MUSCO controllers. 2) The project sites will not be surveyed, and will only use available aerials to complete plans and biding documentation of these proposed improvements. SCOPE OF WORK 1. LAN to create electrical improvement sheets for 1 100% submittal and then 1 signed and sealed submittal prior to project bidding. 2. LAN anticipates 3 plan sheets and 3 location specific detail sheets for this amendment. 3.
