NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $25,000.00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-) 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $ 702,113. 00. Freese and Nichols (FNI) will render the following professional services: Basic Services • Prepare telecom box repair details as outlined in the February 11, 2026, report titled "Telecom Boxes at TRV Bridges on Henderson Street and White Settlement Road". It is assumed that FNI will prepare two (2) detail sheets and that the contractor will install precast inserts in the existing telecom boxes as part of the repair. • Prepare for and conduct up to three (3) coordination meetings between CITY staff and FNI. • Conduct up to four (4) construction site visits to observe vault preparation and installation activities. • It is assumed that the project will be constructed using a CITY on -call construction contractor; therefore, the project will not be bid and bid phase services are not included. Special Services • Provide future miscellaneous professional services as directed by the CITY related to the Central City project or similar needs. Page 2 FNI proposes to furnish the services described herein for an hourly not -to -exceed fee of $17,000 for Basic Services and $8,000 for Special Services, for a total amount of $25,000.00.
