Litter and illegal dumping abatement efforts continued throughout this period. Residents are encouraged to use the MyFW app to report litter or illegal dumping and to participate in community efforts to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive city. This work supports the City's ongoing campaign: Litter. Stop It! Report It! Pick It Up! FY26 Year -to -Date Accomplishments Table 1 summarizes FY26 Q1 and Q2 litter control program outcomes. While the long-term goal is to reduce litter and illegal dumping to zero, or at minimum trend downward each fiscal year, the Environmental Services Department establishes annual service level targets to guide operations. The FY26 service level target is to collect up to 20 million pounds of litter and debris. For context, 18.6 million pounds were collected in FY25. Presents data for litter and illegal dumping programs and services in FY26 Q 1 and Q2. Operations Highlights During FY26 Q1 and Q2, staff and partners have: 1. Removed litter and debris from 3,967 illegal dump sites and 1,772 illegal campsites. 2. Deployed five UpSpire crews in November 2025 for illegal campsite cleanups, alongside 11 crews focused on citywide litter abatement and two crews supporting TxDOT highway litter control. In total, 18 crews support litter control, illegal campsite cleanup, and nuisance abatement efforts across the city. 3. Led interdepartmental cleanup efforts at key locations, including 1-30/1-35 access roads, the E. Lancaster corridor, University/Forest Park, Cobb Park, the I.M. Supported active Neighborhood Improvement Program (NIP) areas, including Fairhaven, Worth Heights, and Seminary, with services scheduled to begin in New Mitchell in April 2026. 5. Provided street sweeping and litter removal support for major community events, including the Parade of Lights, 2026 FIFA World Cup Draw Party, MLK Parade, Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, and the Cowtown Marathon. 6. Maintained contracted underpass cleaning operations at the Henderson, Hemphill, Jennings, Main, and Pine Street underpasses. 7. Participated in four Touch -A -Truck school and community safety events, providing outreach and education to residents and students on environmental services. 8. Assisted with winter storm recovery efforts in February 2026, including street sweeping to remove accumulated sand from City facilities, hospital districts, destination areas, and major roadways. 2026 FIFA World Cup Beautification In March 2026, staff from the Environmental Services, Park & Recreation, Code Compliance, and Communications & Public Engagement departments piloted a clean corridors initiative as part of the City's FIFA Beautification Workgroup. Interdepartmental teams are conducting corridor assessments and addressing key issues to advance citywide beautification before, during, and immediately after the 2026 FIFA World Cup events, helping ensure Fort Worth presents a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Following the successful pilot, beautification efforts are planned to continue from April through July 2026. East Lancaster Corridor and Downtown Vicinitv Joint collaboration continued among Environmental Services, Police -HOPE, Homeless Strategies, and community partners to address litter and debris in the East Lancaster Corridor and areas in and around Downtown Fort Worth. This effort included extending two existing UpSpire crews beginning in December 2025 to provide seven -day -per -week coverage. Keep Fort Worth Beautiful (KFWB) Keep Fort Worth Beautiful (KFWB) offers several programs that engage residents in community litter prevention and cleanup efforts. On March 28, 2026, staff hosted the Cowtown Great American Cleanup, where over 3,900 registered volunteers removed more than 70,000 pounds of litter across 11 designated hub locations and neighborhoods citywide. Additionally, staff conducted a scrap tire take -back event on March 28, 2026, at City Hall, collecting 1,854 scrap tires. KFWB also continues to provide free cleanup supplies to volunteers year-round to support volunteer -led efforts. Table 2 highlights City -hosted KFWB events scheduled for the remainder of FY26.
