AMENDMENT No . 1
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 59970
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Raymond L. Goodson, Jr.,
Inc. dba RLG Consulting, (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary
Contract No. 59970, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C 23-0664 on
the 8th day of August, 2023 in the amount of $ 496,185.00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the
following project:
Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement Contract 2022, WSM-T, CPN
104836; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which
amends the CONTRACT:
1.
Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated
herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed
by Engineer totals $198,905.00. (Water: $151,806.00; Sewer: $47,099.00)
2.
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $695,090.00.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended
herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

Mr. Torrance,
We are pleased to submit the following proposal (Amendment No. 1) for additional surveying and
engineering services requested for the Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacements Contract 2022,
WSM-T project. The scope of the proposed services is as follows:
SCOPE OF SERVICES
As discussed, the City of Fort Worth has requested that RLG increase our scope of services to
include the design of 5,850 LF of 24" water line along Jacksboro Hwy. from Ephriham Ave. to
Menefee Ave. and along Menefee Ave. from Jacksboro Hwy. to N.W. 27t" St. Additionally, the
City has requested that we include the design replacement of 6" SS, L-2037 from Sta. 7+40.95 to
Sta. 13+10.50 (End) and 6" SS, L-2010 from Sta. 0+00 to Sta. 12+97.50 (End). (see attached
Exhibit A).
These improvements will require adjustments to the previously designed 90% plans in Menefee
Ave., coordination with Freese & Nichols at either end of the RLG scope, & additional TxDOT
permitting.
COMPENSATION
RLG Consulting Engineers requests an increase in the original Contract amount not to exceed
$198,905.00 as summarized in Attachment A — Level of Effort Spreadsheet — Amendment No. 1.
The total contract increase shall be considered full compensation for the Scope of Services shown
in Exhibit A, including all labor materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to deliver the
services.
