Consultants, L.L.C.I AMENDMENT NO. 1 STATE OF TEXAS § CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. o2 3 (No M&C Needed) COUNTY OF TARRANT § WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and A.N.A Consultants, L.L.C., (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 24287 (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-17000 on the 22nd day of September, 1998; and WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project: Engineering contract for Pavement Reconstruction and Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacements on the Following Streets: Grace St. (Springdale to NE 28th) Eagle St. (Yucca to Belknap) Bird St. (Sylvania to W. Dead End) Colonial Ave. (Grapewood to Race) Blandin Ave. (E. Belknap to Race) Race St. (Riverside to Fairview) N. Chandler Dr. (McLemore to Yucca) Maurice St. (Belknap to Seaman) Chenault St. (Brandies to Covello) Dalford St. (Fariview to Belknap) WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee; NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1. Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated March 25, 1999, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional services to be performed by Engineer total $5,400.00. 2. Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of $346,358.00. 3. ©OCOL 1 ©L CBYQ��( CG� R. No. 2139 Dear Mr. Sahu: 1l � av t 1Z9T t. r During the Concept Review the City requested a change in the scope of work for the water improvements portion of this project. The City has requested a water line be extended from the intersection of Grace and Hollis along Hollis Street to the intersection of Hollis and Blandin and connect to an existing water line in Hollis Street. This request will result in the addition of one plan sheet, an additional 400 If of field survey, additional property research, property owners and reconstructing plats to cover this request. Due to the requested changes, A.N.A.'s project limits and scope has increased the original linear footage for survey and design. The purpose of this letter is to request additional fees, based on the original contract fees, for the additional work as outlined below: Additional Surveying $ 1,800.00 Existing field conditions for Hollis Street.
