(No M&C Needed) COUNTY OF TARRANT b WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Halff Associates, Inc., (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 23668, (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-16627 on the 24th day of February 1998 and revised by two previous amendment; and WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project: Engineering contract for the design of Main C1C4B Drainage Area Sanitary Sewer System Rehabilitation and Improvements (Group 6, Contract 2), Part 4. WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 3 to said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee; NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1. Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated June 17, 1999, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional services to be performed by Engineer total $2,900.00. 2. Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of $333,365.00. The Part 4 bid documents will be divided into 3 separate Units as follows: Unit 1: L-1232, M-149, and L-976 Unit 2: L-927, L-183, and L-5489 Unit 3: M -398R A summary of the proposed budget for Amendment 3 is as follows: Prepare updated Bid Documents $1,500 Print 45 sets of plans (LA Blueline) $ 375 Print 45 sets of specifications (LA Blueline) $ 900 10% for M/WBE subconsultant $ 125 TOTAL PROPOSED AMENDMENT $2,900 In accordance with the City of Fort Worth M/WBE participation goal, following is an updated summary of our proposed project team anticipated M/WBE utilization based on a total fee (including Amendment 3) of $333,365.
