FIRST AMENDMENT AND FIRST EXTENSION
TO
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 59916
This First Amendment and First Extension is entered into by and between the City of Fort
Worth ("City,") a Texas home rule municipality, and GTS Technology Solutions, Inc. ("Vendor").
City and Vendor are each individually referred to herein as a "party" and collectively referred to
as the "parties."
WHEREAS, City and Vendor entered into an Agreement identified as City Secretary
Contract No. 59916, beginning August 14, 2023 (the "Agreement"), utilizing Texas Department
of Information Resources ("DIR") Contract No. DIR-CPO-4754, for an initial one-year term with
one (1) two-year renewal option and one (1) one-year renewal option (the "Underlying
Cooperative Agreement");
WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement expired on March 3, 2026;
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of the parties to amend the Agreement to extend the
current term of the Agreement through July 5, 2026, in alignment with the Underlying Cooperative
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties further desire to amend the Agreement to clarify the duration and
timing of the first optional two-year renewal term.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties, acting herein by the through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement:
I. AMENDMENTS
1. The Agreement is hereby amended to clarify that the first optional two-year renewal
term shall be administered in two (2) one-year segments. The first year shall be referred to as the
"First Renewal Term," and the second year shall be referred to as the "Second Renewal Term."
2. The Agreement is hereby amended to extend the current term of the Agreement
through July 5, 2026, in alignment with the underlying Cooperative Agreement Contract No. DIR-
CPO-4754.
IL MISCELLANEOUS
All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
