HomeMy WebLinkAbout054801-A1R5 - General - Contract - Flair Event Staffing, Inc. dba Usher and MoreCSC No. 54801-Al R5 FIRST AMENDMENT AND FIFTH RENEWAL TO CITY OF FORT WORTH CONTRACT NO. 54801 This FIRST AMENDMENT AND FIFTH RENEWAL ("First Amendment and Fifth Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH, a home -rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized representative ("City"), and Flair Event Staffing, Inc dba Usher and More ("Vendor"). WHEREAS, City and Vendor entered into an agreement to provide Event staffing services for the Clients of the WRMC and FWCC, the same being City Secretary Contract Number 54801 ("Agreement"); WHEREAS, the Agreement included an initial one-year term with four renewal options; WHEREAS, the parties have exercised all renewal options and the most recent term of the Agreement expired on September 30, 2025; WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to include five additional one-year renewal options and simultaneously exercise one such renewal option; WHEREAS, the parties wish to continue their relationship by exercising the fifth renewal option effective October 1, 2025 and to expire September 30, 2026; and NOW, THEREFORE, City and Instructor agree to amend and to renew and extend the Agreement as follows: 111/W 191►11)11191►0 Y City and Vendor hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: Section 3.2, entitled "Renewal Term", is hereby amended to read as follows: Following the Primary Term, the City and Vendor, by written mutual consent, may elect to extend this Contract for nine additional one (1) year period (each a "Renewal Term"), with all terms and conditions remaining the same, but with compensation rates to be negotiated between the Parties. Notification of intent to extend the Contract must be given in writing to the other party at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to the expiration of the Primary Term, unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing. II. RENEWAL The parties further agree to renew and extend the Agreement for its fifth renewal term, effective beginning on October 1, 2025 and ending on September 30, 2026 (5t' Renewal Term).
