With a new Fuel Management consultant and the change in design, moving all piping to overhead, it will be necessary to develop a new Design Development submittal. The City has directed us to include Diamond Z under our fee in order to fund them for this project. Since this is a City selected consultant, Quorum intends to include their drawings and specifications as reference only with our Documents to provide one bidding and construction set of Documents. This proposal includes the cost of the new consultant services, as well as a redevelopment and resubmittal of Design Development. DISCUSSION: The purpose of this Mayor and Council Communication (M&C) is to authorize execution of an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Quorum Architects. A previous M&C authorized the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Quorum Architects, Inc., in the amount of $504,000.00, for Holly Plant Fuel Station on December 11, 2023 (M&C 23-0872). The contract has been previously amended administratively on May 21, 2024 for $3,300.00 and August 8, 2024 for $22,000.00.
