Home My WebLink About025165 - General - Contract - Texas Jet, Inc.:, CITY SECRETA}�Y CONTRACT NO. ��-��(p �` AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 11813 FIXED BASE OPERATOR LEA�E This AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 11813 ("Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS ("Lessor"), a home rule municipal corporation, and TEXAS JET, INC. ("Lessee"), a Texas corporation acting by and through Reed Pigman, Jr., its duly authorized President. The following introductory provisions are true and correct and form the basis of this Amendment. A. Lessor and Lessee previously entered into City Secretary Contract ("CSC") No. 11813, as previously amended by CSC Nos. 11887 and 17672 (collectively the "Lease"), a lease of real property at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport known as the Butler Lease Option Site, comprising Hangars 25N, 26N, 27N, 28N, 29N and 30N. B. Lessee wishes and Lessor consents to lease an additional 3,796 square feet of improved land in order to expand the aircraft ramp in front of Hangar 26N. NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which aze hereby aclrnowledged, Lessor and Lessee agree as follows: 1. In addition to all other real property leased from Lessor by Lessee under the Lease, Lessor hereby leases to Lessee and Lessee hereby accepts from Lessor, as part of the demised premises under the Lease, an additional 3,796 square feet of improved land ("Additional Land"). The demised premises, including the Additional Land, is further depicted in E�ibit "A", attached hereto and hereby made a part of this Amendment and the Lease for all purposes. 2. In addition to any rent that Lessee is paying as of the execution date of this Amendment, Lessee shall also pay Lessor, as annual rent for the Additional Land, $835.12, payable in monthly installments of $69.59. This additional rent shall be subject to adjustment in accordance with Section V.B of the Lease, as specifically set forth in CSC No. 17672. 3. All capitalized terms used but not defined in this Amendment shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Lease. 4. All provisions and conditions of the Lease that are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. AT FORT WORTH MEACHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, INCREASING SIZE OF LEASEHOLD RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to City Secretary Contract No. 11813, an improved ground lease with Texas Jet, Inc. at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport, to add 3,796 square feet �f land to the existing leasehold. DISCUSSION: � Texas Jet, Inc. has requested to expand the ramp in front of Hanger 26N at Meacham Airport by 3,796 square feet. � If the amendment is approved, Texas Jet, Inc. will pay an additional $835.12 annually, or $69.59 on a monthly basis. The per-square-foot rate of $0.22 is in accordance with the current Schedule of Rates and Charges as approved by the City Council. All terms and conditions of the lease agreement will be in accordance with standard City and Aviation Department policies. � The property is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
