Call to Order With a quorum of the board members present, President Flores called the meeting of the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) Board of Directors to order at 12:12 p.m., on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in the City Council Work Session Room, of the Fort Worth City Hall,100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas. CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS FEBRUARY 24, 2026 Page 2 of 4 11. Approval of Meeting Minutes - December 2, 2025, Regular Meeting Motion was made by Director Crain and seconded by Director Blaylock to approve the minutes of the December 2, 2025, Regular Meeting. Motion passed 8-0. Vice President Nettles and Directors Lauersdorf and Beck were absent. III. Written Reports A. FY20261ST Quarter Performance Report on Activities and Finances B. Partners with a Shared Mission Quarterly Update The reports were for informational purposes. No action by the Board was required. IV. Discussion and Action Items A. Consideration Of Emerging Partners Program Funding Requests in the Amount of $995,758 (Jaycee Shane, Police) 1. Program Grant: United Way of Greater Tarrant County ($995,758.00). Motion was made by Director Crain and seconded by Director Hill to approve the Emerging Partners Program Funding Request in the amount of $995,758.00. Motion passed 7-0. Director Hall recused. Vice President Nettles and Directors Lauersdorf and Beck were absent. B. Consideration of Fiscal Year 2026 Budget Amendments and Adjustments for Funding Requests and Programming Changes (Public Hearing) a. Amendment - Increase the Adjustment Initiative in the amount of $829,860.00 from Fund Balance, for transfer to the Group Health Insurance Fund for the Fund's share of the current deficit in the Group Health Fund; b. Amendment - Increase the violent Crime Program in the Enhanced Response Initiative by $109,450.000 and Reduce the Neighborhood Crime Prevention Initiative by the Same Amount from Savings in the Community Information program for the Comprehensive Crime Program; CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS FEBRUARY 24, 2026 Page 3 of 4 c. Amendment - Increase the Technology Infrastructure Program in the Equipment, Technology and Infrastructure Initiative in the amount of $912,986.00 from savings in the New Officer Training Program in the Recruitment and Training Initiative for the purchase of radio replacements for incumbent sworn staff; and d. Adjustment - Reallocate $66,480.00 within the Neighborhood Crime Prevention Initiative from Savings in the Civilian Response Unity Program to Create the Constitutional Policing Program. 1. Staff Available for Questions: Loraine Coleman, Police 2. Public Hearing 3. Action Adrian Smith registered to speak but was not present when called by President Flores. Motion was made by Director Crain and seconded by Director Blaylock to approve the requested amendments and adjustments. Motion passed 8-0. Vice President Nettles and Directors Lauersdorf and Beck were absent. V. Public Comments There were no registered speakers. VI. Requests for Future Agenda Items Director Hill requested an overview of the grant process and the program requirements for grant applications specifically for East Lancaster area. VII. Adjourn With no further presentations or discussions, President Flores adjourned the meeting of the Fort Worth Crime Control and Prevention Board of Directors at 12:24 p.m., on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
