HomeMy WebLinkAbout025251 - Construction-Related - Contract - Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)m CIT1' SECRETqRY CONTRACT �IVp , p� ,�j � �� � , Contract No. 19811 SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 8 TO AGREEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS WITHIN A MUNICIPALITY WHEREAS, on the l Oth day of Sentember , 19 93 , an Agreement for the Installation and Reimbursement for the Operation and Maintenance of Trai�ic Signals within a Municipality was entered into by and between the Te�s Department of Transportation, hereinafter called the "State," and the City of Fort Worth , hereinafter called the "City," and subsequently identified the agreement as contract No. 19811 ; and WHEREAS, the parties to this agreement have mutually determined that it is necessary to amend the original agreement due to the following reason/reasons: NOW, THEREFORE, Contract No. 19811 is amended as follows: EXHIBIT 1 EXHIBIT 1 is amended to add the traffic signal installation at the intersection of IH 30 with Brvant Irvin Rd. A copy of the revised EXHIBIT 1 is attached hereto and made a part of this agreement. Article 4. Comnensation The maximum amount payable under this agreement is increased from $ 142.548.00 per year to $ 144.372.00 per year in accordance with the above changes. ARTICLE 5. Pavment The amount of this supplemental agreement shown above shall be a prorated amount based on the cost for the type of installation calculated on EXHIBIT 3 of the original agreement and any increases or decreases caused by any subsequent supplemental agreements. The (monthly/ quarterly/annual) payment shall be adjusted accordingly. All other terms or conditions are unchanged and remain in full force and effect. Calculations: $142.00/mo. X 12 months = $1,704.00/yr. Diamond Interchange Signals with one controller shall be reimbursed at $1,824.00 per intersection per year. Calculations: $152.00/mo. X 12 months = $1,824.00/yr. Diamond Interchange signals with two or more controllers shall be reimbursed at $3,000.00 per intersection per year. Calculations: $250.00/mo. X 12 months = $3,000.00/yr. Sign Mounted Flashers shall be reimbursed at $300.00 per unit per year. Calculations: $25.00/mo. X 12 months = $300.00/yr. Half-Diamond (Tee) intersections shall be reimbursed at $1,500.00 per year. Calculations: $125.00/mo. This agreement provides for reimbursement for the operation and maintenance of traffic signals in the City of Fort Worth. This agreement covers the addition of the intersection of IH 30 with Bryant Irvin Road. This change should be reflected in future billing statements.
