RE: DESIGN FEE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO MAIN 36SR DRAINAGE AREA
SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM REHABILITATION AND IMPROVE-
MENTS (GROUP 5, CONTRACT 2), PART 14, SEWER PROJECT NO.
PS46-070460410260, DOE NO. 2416
The proposed amendment will reimburse Halff Associates, Inc. (Ha1ffl, for the additional
services to be provided on the project as requested by the City.
Staff directed Halff to prepare plans and specifications for the replacement of a severely
deteriorated 535 linear feet segment of L-4933 located on Minden Street. The poor con-
dition of the identified segment of the sewer lateral was unknown prior to beginning con-
struction of the project.
Halff Associates, Inc., is requesting reimbursement in the amount of $4,900.00 for the
additional services thereby increasing the contract fee from $79,565.00 to $84,465.00. I
believe this fee is fair and reasonable for the additional services that were provided.
Please authorize this additional fee by your signatures on the attached contract amend-
ment form.
