APPOINTING CHRIS JAMIESON AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARDS OF CERTAIN
NON-PROFIT CORPORATIONS BENEFITING THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
WHEREAS, the Fort Worth Local Development Corporation, Central City Local
Government Corporation, and Research and Innovation Local Government Corporation are all
corporations that were created for the benefit of the City of Fort Worth; and
WHEREAS, per the terms of each corporation's respective bylaws, its governing body is
appointed by the City Council and any Councilmember appointed serves a term of office parallel
with their terms of service on the City Council; and
WHEREAS on May 12, 2026, Chris Jamieson was duly sworn in as a member of the
Fort Worth City Council, and the City Council wishes to appoint him to serve as a member of the
boards governing the above -referenced corporations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS THAT:
Chris Jamieson, who has a business address of 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas
76102 and is qualified to serve, is hereby appointed to the boards of the following
corporations:
Fort Worth Local Development Corporation
Central City Local Government Corporation
Research and Innovation Local Government Corporation
The term of such service commences as of today's date and expires on the date that is
coterminous with the end of his term of service on the City Council.
Adopted and effective this 9t' day of June 2026.
