APPOINTING CHRIS JAMIESON TO THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF FW SPORTS AUTHORITY, INC. AND
ACKNOWLEDGING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE OTHER
CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE BOARD
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2066 the Fort Worth City Council ("City
Council") approved the creation of the FW Sports Authority, Inc. ("Sports Authority") in
accordance with Section 4B of Article 5190.6 of the Texas Revised Civil Statues, which has been
restated and codified under Chapter 505 of the Texas Local Government Code; and
WHEREAS, Article VI of the Sports Authority's Articles of Incorporation ("Articles")
provides that all powers of the Sports Authority are vested in a Board of Directors ("Board")
consisting of seven (7) persons (each a "Director") who shall be appointed by the City Council
("City Council") for two (2) year terms, unless otherwise indicated; and
WHEREAS, to be qualified as a Director pursuant to the Articles and the Sports
Authority's bylaws ("Bylaws"), a person must be a resident of the City and be at least 18 years of
age; and
WHEREAS, except as otherwise required by law, at least three (3) of the Directors must
be persons who are not employees, officers, or members of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Board Director and President, Alan Blaylock will no longer
serve on the Board; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council to appoint a person to fill
such vacancy on the Board for the remainder of the term currently in effect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The person listed below is hereby appointed to the Board for the remainder
of the applicable term expiring as indicated below:

2. The City Council hereby acknowledges that the following people have
previously been appointed by the City Council to the Board for terms

3. The City Council reserves the right, at any time and for any reason, to
remove a Board member appointed by the City Council and to appoint
individuals to the Board to replace any appointed Board members.
