COUNTY OF TARRANT WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth and SpawGlass Contractors, Inc. of the City of Fort Worth County of Tarrant, State of Texas (Contractor) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 64158 (The Contract), which was authorized by the City Council by M&C 25-0229, the 11 th day of March 2025, for Meacham Airport Design Build Contract; and WHEREAS, the initial contract price for design services was $545,055.00; and revised by Amendment Number 1 for $36,438.00, which was administratively approved on the 10th Day of February; WHEREAS, a further amendment is necessary to support contractors' ability to deliver the scope of work for the Meacham Airport Design Build Contract and related costs referred to in Attachment A; and NOW THEREFORE, City and Contractor, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the Contract: In accordance with Paragraph 5.2.1 of the contract, it is amended as follows: "The GMP shall be the cost of the Design & Construction Services, in the amount of $1,187,037.00, One Million, One Hundred Eighty -Seven Thousand,Thirty-Seven Dollars. The increase in the amount of $605,544.00, Six Hundred Five Thousand, Five Hundred Forty -Four Dollars to include: Pre -Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Design Services, PEMB 3rd Party Design Review, furnish and erect PEMB, Replat Quit Claim, Additional Civil Design Services for Storm Drain Study, Parkway Permit, Erosion Control SWPP as defined in Article 1.4.7, plus the Design -Builders fee of 5%, which shall not exceed the Guaranteed Maximum Price set forth in the GMP Amendment." This addition will cover, at a minimum, the areas of scope listed in Attachment A: 1. SpawGlass. The Design -Builder shall submit a Budget update to the Owner for each phase working toward a GMP. The GMP approved to date for Design Services, is at a value of Five Hundred and Eighty -One Thousand and Four Hundred and Ninety -Three Dollars ($581,493) after execution of Amendment No. 1. Construction as defined in Article 1.4.7 plus the Design -Builder's fee of 5% shall not exceed the Guaranteed Maximum Price set forth in the GMP Amendment. No adjustments in Design -Builder's fee shall be made for deductive changes. A mutually agreed Contractor's and Owner's Contingency will be included in Budget Updates. All unspent contingencies belong to the City at the completion of the project. The number shown above has been committed to SpawGlass as of 03/31/2026. After execution of Amendment No. 2 (requested herein) priced at $605,544, the updated contract value will be $1,187,037 as shown on page 1. Multistage GMP The City of Fort Worth has agreed and authorized SpawGlass Contractors to move forward with an early solicitation package to procure the pre-engineered metal building scope prior to full GMP amount being finalized. As such, SpawGlass is proposing to submit a multistage GMP as follows: • GMP 1 — Early Release of PEMB • GMP 2 — All remaining scopes SpawGlass Contactors, Inc. hereby submits phase 1 GMP Amendment No. 2 to procure the design, fabrication and erection of pre-engineered metal building for the City of Fort Worth Meacham Airport Field Maintenance Facility project. This amendment also includes the PEMB engineering design peer review, SWPPP narrative and inspections, replat review and quit claim coordination, SDS (Storm Drainage Study), parkway permit coordination & application fees, and storm sewer tie-in coordination.
