1. Call to Order — Mattie Parker — Mayor
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the
Budget Work Session on the FY2027 Budget to order at 5:13 p.m. on Tuesday, June
2, 2026, in the City Council Worlc Session Room, 100 Fort Worth Trail, For-t Worth,
Texas.
2. Opening Remarks — Jay Chapa, City Manager
Opening comments were made by Jay Chapa, City Manager.
3. Classification & Compensation Updates — Kristen Smith, Human
Resources Director
Presentation was provided by Kristen Smith, Human Resources Director.
• Council Member Nettles asked for a graph to see where the $8 to $10 million
dollar increase is going towards.

4. Group Healtli Fund Update — Kristen Smith, Human Resources Director
Presentation was provided by Kristen Smith, Human Resources Director.
• Council Member Becic wanted to lcnow how much the City spends collectively
on Noom, Wondt• Health, Ramp Health, Form Health, and Digbi Health.
Kristen stiated that he would talce it as a follow up.
• Mayor Parlcer aslced how much the audit cost. Kristen responded that she
didn't have the exact figure with her, but she would follow up.
• Council Member Becic aslced by removing GLP-1 for anything other than
diabetes, how does the City fix the relationship between employees and their
doctor.
• Council Member Hill requested information on the cost of the dependent
verification audit.

There were no requests for future agenda items.
6. Closing Comments — Mattie Parker, Mayor
There being no further business, Mayor Parker adjourned the meeting at 5:45 p.m.
