Goodall, City Secretary CALL TO ORDER With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the Special Called City Council Meeting — Election Canvass to order at 4:14 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the City Council Chambers of the Fort Worth City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas. CERTIFICATION OF OFFICIAL ELECTION RETURNS BY CITY SECRETARY City Secretary Goodall advised the Council that before them were the cer-tification and tabulations of the official election returns from Tarrant, Denton, Parker, and Wise Counties for the Bond, Charter and Special Election held on May 2, 2026, on the question of issuance of ad valorem tax supported public securities %r the 2026 CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SPECIAL CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING — ELECTION CANVASS MAY 12, 2026 Page 2 of 8 General Obligation Debt program, adoption or rejection of 9 proposed amendments to the existing Charter of the City of Foi�t Worth, and election of a City Council Member for City Council District 10 to serve the remainder of an unexpired terin, as follows: A. CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SPECIAL CALL�D ME�TING MAY 12, 2026 Page 7 of 8 ORDINANCES 1. 26-5967 An Ordinance Finding that the Special Election Conducted on May 2, 2026 on the Question of the Issuance of Ad Valorem Tax Supported Public Securities was Duly and Lawfully Held; Declaring the Results of the Election; and Expressing Official Intent to Reimburse Expenditures with Proceeds of Future Debt Motion: Council Member Crain made a motion, seconded by Council Member Peoples, that Ordinance No. 28476-OS-2025 be adopted. Motion passed 11-0. RESOLUTIONS 1. 26-5969 A Resolution Canvassing the Returns and Declaring the Results of the Special Election Held on May 2, 2026, for the Purpose of Submitting to the Voters of the City of Fort Woi-th, for Adoption or Rejection, Proposed Amendments to the Existing Chai�ter of the City of Fort Worth Motion: Council Member Crain made a motion, seconded by Council Member Hill, that Resolution No. 6300-OS-2025 be adopted. Motion passed 11- 0. 2. 26-5969 A Resolution Canvassing the Returns and Declaring the Results of the General Election Held on May 2, 2026, for the Purpose of Electing a City Council Member for City Council District 10 to Serve the Remainder of an Unexpired Term Motion: Council Member Blaylocic made a motion, seconded by Council Member Lauersdorf, that Resolution No. 6301-OS-2025 be adopted. Motion passed 11-0. REMARKS BY COUNCIL MEMBER ALAN BLAYLOCK Council Member Blaylocic expressed appreciation to his family, friends, citizens of Foi-t Worth and staff for their suppot�t and provided remarlcs relative to District 10.
