Home My WebLink About064740-A1 - Construction-Related - Contract - Dunaway Associates, LLCAMENDMENT No .1 CSC No. 64740-A1 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 64740 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Dunaway Associates, LLC, (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 64740, (the CONTRACT) which was administratively authorized on the 16th day of February, 2026 in the amount of $ 70,089.00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: Exposition Way Slope Stabilization Project, CPN 105816; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $16,900.00. (See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet, Page -4-) 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $86,989.00. Following receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP), Dunaway prepared and submitted 60% and 90% PS&E deliverables for City review. During the development of the 60% PS&E, Dunaway was directed to incorporate approximately 3,700 linear feet of already delineated pavement repair along Exposition Way. This additional scope was incorporated in the 60% submittal. After review of the 60% deliverables, the City requested additional scope items. A summary of the additional scope items include: • Addition and incorporation of pavement repair, including sidewalk and ramp replacements, along with associated design sheets, details, and site visits. • Expanded scope of wall repair and replacement along the entire section of roadway, including incorporation of the wall into the plans, site visits, details, and structural analysis. • Tree survey along Exposition Way and incorporation of the survey data into the construction plans. • Additional French drain and slope seepage mitigation along the wall near 4816 Exposition Way. • Additional coordination, site visits, and RFI during construction. The design elements noted above have already been incorporated into the 90% PS&E deliverable, with the exception of the tree survey, which is currently ongoing. To complete the additional scope requested by the City, Dunaway has determined that supplemental consulting engineering effort is required to bring the project through final design, construction phase services, and project closeout. Accordingly, we respectfully request an amendment to the current contract in the amount of $16,900.00, increasing the total not -to -exceed amount from $70,089.00 to $86,989.00.
