SECOND RENEWAL AND FIRST AMENDMENT TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 61736
This Second Renewal and First Amendment to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No.
61736 ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Cavender Stores, L.P. (hereafter "Seller")
acting by and through its duly authorized representative, and City of Fort Worth ("Buyer"), a
Texas home -rule municipal corporation acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City
Manager, each individually referred as a "Party" and collectively as the "Parties."
WHEREAS, City and Vendor entered into an Agreement identified as Fort Worth City
Secretary Contract No. 61736 effective July 23, 2024 (the "Agreement"); for two (2) types of
western hats that are part of the Fort Worth Mounted Police's uniform, as more particularly
described in the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of the Parties to renew the agreement for the Second
renewal option (the "Second Renewal Term"); and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of the Parties to amend the Agreement to replace
"Seller's Quote" (Exhibit D) which replaces item #2 "Resistol 1 OX USTRC Big Money Straw hat
with Stetson IOX Lobo Vent Ivory Straw Cowboy Hat and Cowboy Chrome Black Basketweave
Leather Hat Ban during the Second Renewal Term. This amendment does not increase the total
compensation under the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Vendor do hereby agree to the following:
I.
RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT
The Agreement, as amended herein, is hereby renewed and extended for a renewal term
commencing on July 23, 2026, and ending on July 22, 2027.
II.
AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
The Agreement is hereby amended by replacing Exhibit D with the attached Exhibit D
("Seller's Quote"), which replaces item #2 "Resistol 1 OX USTRC Big Money Straw hat with
Stetson IOX Lobo Vent Ivory Straw Cowboy Hat and Cowboy Chrome Black Basketweave
Leather Hat Ban is incorporated by reference into the Agreement as if fully set forth therein.
ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN THE SAME

All other provisions of the Agreement, as previously amended, which are not expressly
amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE
This Second Renewal and First Amendment may be executed in multiple
counterparts, each of which shall be an original and all of which shall constitute one and
the same instrument. A facsimile copy or computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a
signature, shall be treated as and shall have the same effect as an original.
