AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR
ACQUISITION & RELOCATION SERVICES
WHEREAS, Moreland Altobelli Associates,Inc., ("Contractor") and the City of
Fort Worth ("City") entered into an agreement ("Agreement") for avigation easement
acquisition and/or acquisition and relocation services on July 8, 1998 (City Secretary
Contract No. 24026) for the acquisition of avigation easements and/or the fee simple
property acquisition and relocation services in connection with the noise mitigation
program at Fort Worth Alliance Airport ("Project").
WHEREAS, the Agreement required the Contractor to have each parcel
appraised and a just compensation amount established, it has been determined one of the
property ov�ners soid a portion of the tract that was appraised, prior to the offer to
purchase being presented. Because funds were not allocated for any reappraisals in the
Agreement and Price Proposal, the Contractor requests an additional amount of $2,250.00
be approved for the reappraisal of the remainder of the property.
WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor desire to amend the Agreement to
provide for the reappraisal and reimbursement of the Contractor's expenses involved in
the re-evaluation,
NOW THEREFORE, City and Contractor agree as follows:
1. The Contractor may retain the services of Tom Kyser, MAI to appraise Parcel No.
9, Ronald W.& Sonja Boaz property, for a fee not to exceed $2000.00. In
addition an administration fe� of $250.00 will be allowed the Contractor for the
additional time required to obtain the report.
2. Unless specifically revised herein, all the other terms of the Agreement shall
remain unchanged and continue in full force and effect.
