WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Wadkins and Associates, Architects(Architect) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No 22441 (The Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C G-11681 on the 11th
day of November , 1996; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has authorized the first amendment to the Contract by M&C C-16200, dated July 29,
1997.
���HEREAS, Ins�ections conducted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to determine comoliance
with the Texas Access Standards have determined a number of shortcomings, the Architect has offered to correct
the deficiencies at his expense, and the City has agreed to reimburse the Architect for construction of those
improvements which are new work.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, action herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into
the following agreement which amends the Contract:
Article 1.1, Section I- SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, add fourth paragraph as follows:
"Modify the Animal Care and Control Center to meet Accessibility Standards as listed in the attached Table
of Work. Scope of work is shown in Enclosure 1, The Architect will bear all costs associated with
corrections to existing conditions. City will reimburse the Architect for the additional work (Sidewalk and
apron painting), not to exceed $1,750"
Article 5.1, Section V of the Contract is amended as follows:
"5.1 The Total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by the Architect as described in Section
II - CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be

Reimbursables shall be invoiced to the City at the actual cost paid by the architect and are included in the total fee."
All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain i full force and effect.
