Home My WebLink About054696-A6R5 - General - Contract - Texas Christian University (TCU) Center for Texas StudiesCSC No. 54696-A6R5 AMENDMENT 6 AND RENEWAL 5 TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 54696 This Amendment and Renewal is entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH ("City"), a Texas home -rule municipality, and TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY on behalf of the TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY CENTER FOR TEXAS STUDIES ("Vendor"). City and Vendor shall be referred to individually as a "Party" and collectively as the "Parties". WHEREAS, Parties previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract 54696 ("Agreement") on October 16, 2020; WHEREAS, the Agreement was executed for Vendor to provide presentations by both professional and local historians, museum curators, archivists. journalists, preservationists, and/or others who strive to document Texas heritage ("Presenters") that in -turn provide and lead multiple ninety -minute (90) history workshops ("Performances") to the City; WHEREAS, the first amendment provided that the Agreement allow for annual renewals so long as the Parties mutually agree to renew the Contract; WHEREAS, the Agreement was previously renewed for additional one-year terms with the current renewal term ending on August 31, 2026; WHEREAS, Parties now wish to renew the Agreement for an additional term from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027; and WHEREAS, Parties also wish to amend the Agreement to add additional Performance Dates onto Attachment A of the Agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, Parties, acting herein by the through their duly -authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement: 1. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT The following terms are hereby amended to replace the referenced terms in the Agreement and shall be binding and enforceable as if they were originally included therein: A. ATTACHMENT A — PERFORMANCE DATES is hereby replaced in its entirety with the attached revised Attachment A — Performance Dates. OFFICIAL RECORD CITY SECRETARY FT. RENEWAL The term of the Agreement, as amended, is hereby renewed for an additional year to begin on September 1, 2026 and expire on August 31, 2027, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the Agreement. 3. ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN THE SAME All other provisions of the Agreement which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. 4. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE This Amendment and Renewal may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. A facsimile copy or computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be treated as and shall have the same effect as anoriginal.
