1. Call to Order - Mattie Parker, Mayor
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Pro Tem Flores called the
Budget Worlc Session on the FY2027 Budget to order at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16,
2026, in the City Council Work Session Room of the Fort Worth City Hall, 100 Fort
Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas.
2. Opening Remarlcs - Jay Chapa, City Manager
Opening comments were made by Jay Chapa, City Manager.
3. Total Resident Charges Analysis - Srady Kirk, FWLab Assistant Director
Presentation was provided by Brady Kirlc, FW Lab Assistant Director.
4. Solid Waste & Environmental Rates - Cody Whittenburg, Environmental
Services Director

Council requested staff continue to loolc at a holistic approach to cotnbat hornelessness
and wor�lcing with all the stalceholdeis in the cornmunity.
5. Water and Sewer Preliminary Budget and Rates - Chris Harder, Water

6. Stormwater Utility Fees - Jennifer Dylce, TPW Assistant Director
Presentation was provided by Jennifer Dylce, TPW Assistant Director.
• Council Member Hill requested staff to provide an ongoing maintenance of our
storinwater system to see exactly how much it costs annually and if there is a
deficit in what that loolcs lilce to cover the cost. Council Member Martinez
requested staff provide a cost of clearing out channels.
