Project Management — TPW, Water & Sewer BGE was scoped for an 18-month design schedule and delivered 100% plans as scheduled on August 20, 2024. After 100% plans were submitted, Atmos identified a potential conflict with fittings on a 16- inch steel gas main and the roadway subgrade. BGE coordinated extensively with Atmos regarding the gas line relocation in Yates St. In support of this relocation, we attended 4 design workshops, 3 site visits, and numerous coordination calls, and provided CAD and design information as requested. Additionally, the project was delayed an additional 18 months, with Draft Final Plans submitted June 4, 2025, Bid Set Plans submitted October 10, 2025, and Bid Set Final Plans submitted November 18, 2025. Rector Ave - TPW After final plans were submitted and during bidding, the City requested Rector Ave be included in the Base/Alt bid. This change necessitated a full design for Rector Ave, including cross sections. Martin Lydon - TPW After final plans were submitted, the City requested that the roadway be redesigned to minimize cut. An alternative design was completed, including a drainage analysis for both existing and proposed conditions, to minimize runoff from the ROW onto private property. Serving. Leading. Solving TM BGE, Inc. - 777 Main Street, Suite 1900 • Fort Worth, Texas 76102 • 817-887-6130 • www.bgeinc.com Gregg Robbins, PE Page 2 Property Management Coordination & M-195 Reroute — Sewer After negotiations for the easement on 5024 Stanley Ave. were unsuccessful, the City authorized a reroute of the line to avoid the property entirely. BGE developed a reroute for M-195 that places the sewer in the existing Yates St and Stanley Ave ROW. Approximately 1,200 linear feet (4 sheets) of sanitary sewer were redesigned to accommodate this design change. Yates St — Water & Sanitary Sewer Re -Design — Water & Sewer To facilitate the relocation of the Atmos 16" Steel gas line, BGE redesigned both the water and sewer lines for the entire length of Yates St, along with the intersecting streets. Approximately 1,300 linear feet (4 sheets) of water line and 900 linear feet (3 sheets) of sanitary sewer were redesigned to accommodate this design change. M-195-ALT - Possession & Use Agreements — Sewer To construct M-195-ALT prior to the development at Pleasant Villa (IPRC23-0091), the City sought to acquire a Possession and Use Agreement. BGE performed additional field survey and created the appropriate documentation for the Possession and Use Agreements. M-195-ALT — Easements — Sewer In discussions with the City Attorney, IPRC, and BGE, Matt Murray recommended pursuing easements rather than a PUA. BGE developed 5 easement documents. The attached level of effort is the basis for an additional fee request for TPW\Capital Deliver Division totaling $23,820 and Water Department totaling $75,635 for engineering and surveying services.. This proposed amendment increases the total contract amount summarized below: Original Contract amount $750,004 Amendment 1: 99,455 TPW\Capital Delivery Division $ 23,820.00 Water Department Water $ 20,272.50 Sewer $ 55,362.50 $ 75,635.00 Revised Contract Amount $849,459 Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss our proposed amendment.
