AMENDMENT No . 1
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 62757
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Kimley-Horn and Associates,
Inc., (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 62757,
(the CONTRACT) which was administratively authorized on the 14th day of
January, 2025 in the amount of $ 789,340.00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the
following project:
Water and Wastewater Replacement Contract 2023 WSM-X, CPN 105716;
and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which
amends the CONTRACT:
1.
Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in proposal attached hereto and incorporated
herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed
by Engineer totals $66,800.00(Water: $57,500.00; Sewer: $9,300.00)
2.
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $856,140.00.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended
herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Liam:
This letter is in reference to a contract between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. ("Engineer" or
"Kimley-Horn") and the City of Fort Worth (the City) dated 01-14-2025 referred herein as the
"Contract".
The City has requested that Kimley-Horn perform additional services under Amendment Number 1 for
the Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacements Contract 2023, WSM-X (Forest Park Phase 1) project
which are out of the scope of services as defined in the Contract. These additional services include the
following:
• Breaking out and revising final design for —5,000 LF of 12-inch water line and —650 LF of 8-
inch sanitary sewer line to include in the WSM-Y (Forest Park Phase 2) construction
documents (designed by others). The sheets include plan and profiles, details, traffic control,
and surface repair.
Supplemental bidding phase services associated with the WSM-Y
Final design for 100 LF of 8-inch water and 150 LF for 8-inch sanitary sewer improvements
along Mistletoe Drive including additional plan and profiles, traffic control, and surface repair.
The revised scope of services are further described as follows:
CONTRACT TASK 4 — FINAL DESIGN (90%) (Water$37,300, Sewer $6,100)

ENGINEER will complete the following additional tasks in accordance with the Original Contract:
• Design of the following to be included in the WSM-X design package:

o Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost
• Incorporate the following into the WSM-Y design package:
o--5,000 LF of 12-inch water line

• Attend one (1) meeting with City to review design submittal

o Surface Repair
• Finalize the design of the following for WSM-Y
o —5,000 LF of 12-inch water line
o —650 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer line
o Traffic Control
o Surface Repair
CONTRACT TASK 6 — BID PHASE SERVICES (Water$13,100, Sewer$2,100)

ENGINEER will complete the following additional tasks in accordance with the Original Contract:
• Provide supplemental bidding phase support for Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacements

o Issue Addenda
o Prepare Agenda for Pre -Bid Meeting
o Attend Pre -Bid Meeting
