ADDENDUM TO USER AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
AND
LEFTFIELD MEDIA LLC
This Addendum to the User Agreement ("Addendum") is entered into by and between
Leftfield Media LLC ("Vendor") and the City of Fort Worth ("City"), individually referred to
as "party" and collectively the "parties".
The Contract documents shall include the following: OFFICIAL RECORD
1. This Addendum; and CITY SECRETARY
2. The Anime Frontier Agreement; and FT. WORTH, TX
3. The LeftField Media LLC Terms and Conditions.
Notwithstanding any language to the contrary in the attached Anime Frontier Agreement
and attached LeftField Media LLC Terms and Conditions (collectively "Agreement"), the parties
hereby stipulate by evidence of execution of this Addendum below by a representative of each
party duly authorized to bind the parties hereto, that the parties hereby agree that the provisions in
this Addendum below shall be applicable to the Agreement as follows:
1. Addendum Controlling. If any provisions of the attached Agreement, conflict with
the terms herein, are prohibited by applicable law, conflict with any applicable rule, regulation or
ordinance of City, the terms in this Addendum shall control. For the sake of clarity, in terms of
priority for the entirety of the Contract Documents, the parties agree that the terms and conditions
included within this Addendum shall control.
2. Term. The Agreement shall become effective on September 1, 2026 and shall
expire on August 31, 2027 unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of the
Addendum.
3. Termination. Either City or Vendor may terminate the Agreement at any time and
for any reason by providing the other party with 30 days written notice of termination. Such
termination shall be effective without penalty, fee, charge, or cost of any kind to the terminating
Party.
4. Compensation. City represents that for, and in consideration of, its obligations
under this Agreement that Vendor is providing a unique experience for the citizens of Fort Worth.
Vendor represents that for, and in consideration of, its obligations under this Agreement, City is
participating in Vendor's convention. Both parties agree as a condition precedent of this
Agreement that both parties have exchanged good and valuable consideration.
5. Insurance. The City is a governmental entity under the laws of the state of Texas
and pursuant to Chapter 2259 of the Texas Government Code, entitled "Self -Insurance by
Addendum to Leftfield Media LLC Agreement Page 1 of 9
Governmental Units," is self -insured and therefore is not required to purchase insurance. To the
extent the Agreement requires City to purchase insurance, City objects to any such provision, the
parties agree that any such requirement shall be null and void and is hereby deleted from the
Agreement and shall have no force or effect. City will provide a letter of self -insured status as
requested by Vendor.
6. Law and Venue. The Agreement and the rights and obligations of the parties hereto
shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and state of
Texas, exclusive of conflicts of law provisions. Venue for any suit brought under the Agreement
shall be in a court of competent jurisdiction in Tarrant County, Texas. To the extent the Agreement
is required to be governed by any state law other than Texas or venue in Tarrant County, City
objects to such terms and any such terms are hereby deleted from the Agreement and shall have
no force or effect.
7. Sovereign Immunity_. Nothing herein constitutes a waiver of City's sovereign
immunity. To the extent the Agreement requires City to waive its rights or immunities as a
government entity; such provisions are hereby deleted and shall have no force or effect.
8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity. To the extent the Agreement, in any way,
limits the liability of Vendor or requires City to indemnify or hold Vendor or any third party
harmless from damages of any kind or character, City objects to these terms and any such terms
are hereby deleted from the Agreement and shall have no force or effect.
9. Right to Audit. If any money is exchanged as part of this Agreement, then the City
shall have the right to audit the financial and business records of the Vendor that relate to any
monetary exchange under this Agreement (collectively "Records") at any time during the Term of
the Agreement and for three (3) years thereafter. It is expressly understood that no money is being
exchanged as part of this Agreement.
10. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Agreement, Vendor's right to use
the City's name, logo, or other identifying indicia is limited to identifying the City as a participant
in the specific Event covered by this Agreement, and may not be used for any commercial purpose,
or in a manner that suggests or implies City's sponsorship or endorsement ofVendor or its products
or services. Vendor shall not use, reproduce, or distribute photographs, video, audio, or other
recordings of City officials, employees, representatives, or attendees without the City' s prior
written consent. All rights in and to the City's name, logo, and other intellectual property remain
the exclusive property ofthe City, and no license or rights are granted except as expressly provided
in this Agreement. Vendor shall not sublicense, assign, or otherwise authorize any third party to
use the City' s name, logo, or other indicia without the City' s prior written consent.
11. Entirety of Agreement. This Addendum, including the attached Agreement,
contains the entire understanding and agreement between City and Vendor, their assigns and
successors in interest, as to the matters contained herein. Any prior or contemporaneous oral or
written agreement is hereby declared null and void to the extent in conflict with any provision of
this Addendum.

Partnership Proposal 2026

FWPL Meetups and Marketing: September 1 -November 30, 2026
Target Audience: Middle School to Young Adults
Partnership Overview: Increase exposure of Fort Worth Public Library
Anime Clubs, support teen programming and increase circulation of
anime/manga collections. The partnership also puts a spotlight
on Anime Frontier, three days of exhibits, special events, panels and
anime and manga guests making rare appearances in Texas.
Strategic Connection: Arts & Culture, Customer Engagement, Employee
Empowerment
Anime Frontier (LeftField Media LLC) to Provide:
• One (1) 10x20 retail booth space at Anime Frontier 2026.
o Three (3) tables and four (4) chairs to be provided in Anime Frontier, Jr.
area.
0 25 exhibitor badges to be used by Fort Worth Public Library to staff the
booth and for professional development.
0 Pipe and drape.
*Electricity and WIFI are not provided and can be ordered from the
convention center directly.
• Promotion of any Fort Worth Public Library anime/manga/Japanese/library
card signup events on Anime Frontier social media channels.

• Two (2) badges per Anime Club location for contest.
• Eight (8) badges for winners of Anime trivia held at fan meetup.
• Support food related purchases for Anime fan meetup, up to $100.
• $5 off discount offer for library customers.
o Printing and design of promo code item (approved by FWPL) to be
placed at all library locations.
• Provide all necessary equipment, training, and support for two FWPL
locations serving as an Anime Frontier badge retail pickup location.
o Donate $3 per badge (waiting on verification) picked up to the Fort
Worth Public Library Foundation.
Fort Worth Public Library to Provide
• Free activities for convention booth visitors in Anime Frontier, Jr. area.
• Promotion of Anime Frontier and FWPL partnership on City of Fort
Worth website, FWPL newsletters and FWPL social channels.
o Anime Frontier logo placed on FWPL main webpage in the carousel. The
image will link to an Anime Frontier information webpage
highlighting public opportunities.
o Newsletters:
• Promotions to be included in the October and November newsletters.
• November promotion in FWPL on -hold customer notifications
o Social:
• At least five (5) social media posts will be made in the Fall. FWPL
will determine the timing and channel.
• Host one fan meet -up at an agreed -upon day/time at a FWPL location.
o FWPL staff will work with Anime Frontier marketing coordinator to plan and
execute the meet -up.
• All library branches 20 locations will display an Anime Frontier
poster and printed promo items with discount code.
• Two FWPL locations will serve as an Anime Frontier badge pickup
locations from November 1 -December 6, 2026.
